Club Grapevine

Grapevine Essex is delighted to offer members a weekly social club at Columbus College in Chelmsford. Over 45 adults with learning disabilities attend regularly each week.

The facilities available to us at Columbus College are state of the art and include an outdoor gym, music room, swimming pool, dance studio, teaching kitchen, tennis courts, football pitch, relaxed outdoor seating areas and a trendy cafeteria.

The Club runs on Tuesday evenings during term time from 6:30-8:30pm. Members are adults with learning disabilities from the age of 18, there is no upper age limit. Organised activities take place every week and include discos, karaoke, dance, drama, art, craft, cookery and music workshops, along with film nights, bowling evenings, keep fit and outdoor gym.

Members are supported by a team of experienced staff and volunteers and there are always first aiders present.

The weekly subscription to Club Grapevine is £5.00 and includes refreshments; special activities may be slightly more. Payment can be made weekly or per term by arrangement.

The Autumn term programme is now available to download. Activities include bowling and performances by Tickled Pink as well the usual favourites: Art and Craft Workshops, Discos, Karaoke, Quizzes and Bingo.
